Director of HEART

As well as coordinate HEART Groups for the greater Portland area, I train leaders, give my testimony, as well as talk to high school groups, church groups and more.

It is my desire to serve and assist post abortive women in healing and being all God created them to be. With my own experience, I am equipped with the love and compassion to teach and support others through the process of healing.

HEART Leadership

Our HEART leaders are made up of men and women who have experienced the pain of abortion. After completing the HEART Bible study, they are sometimes called to be in HEART ministry -- occasionally as a support group leaders.

In order to become a leader, they must go through the HEART group again, to deal with unfinished issues and to observe leadership. After which they will attend training to equip them as leaders of HEART.

None of this is done without referral from their HEART leaders and an interview with the Director of HEART. At which time they will be qualified to co-lead a group with an experienced HEART leader.

They will then face a probationary period in which they are evaluated by their leader to further approve the process to making it as a HEART leader.

Sometimes women or men prefer to continue as a co-leader and other times they desire to lead the groups. Both positions are so important to the success of our support groups.
